When I first started playing poker about a year ago, Phil was the first pro I really knew and I had read his book, but now, I don't care for him much. I'd much rather root for Duke, Lederer, Brunson, Negreanu, etc, etc. The people who can simply take a beat without putting down their opponent. They understand that it's a game and things like that happen all he time in poker. Phil thinks everything should go his way all of the time which is pretty funny. That was a great show. When Phil laid down the K and showed it to her, Annie showed Phil the 9, but not the K. I thought that was just brilliant... Hellmuth strikes me as the kind of guy who just expects everything to fall into place for him, and when it doesn't, it's total shock and disappointment. I prefer to expect the worst and have be pleasantly surprised by a positive result, but that's just me...
