Man, I don’t like to rant or bad beat story anyone but what a frustrating session. AKs and AKo, 20 hands combined. Overall a 15BB loser. I’m fighting for every pot I win. I got guys with bottom pair re-raising me, guys capping the pre-flop betting with K9o, you name it.
Every bad beat I have to keep telling myself that it’s a numbers game. Yeah, that’s it, it’s a numbers game. Just keep playing good cards, protect your weak hands, don’t chase, raise your good hands and it’ll all work out

Eric added these pithy words on Nov 08 04 at 10:24 amSmall consolation, but it happens to all of us. I’ve been playing 2-3 NL tournaments daily on PP for the past couple of weeks. Last week, I placed first in six tournaments in a row. Felt like a pro. This week, I haven’t placed once. I know my playing hasn’t changed, just my luck. Too many bad beats to count. But that’s poker. Got to roll with the punches sometimes.
