Bill-

"Sorry Doyle. Sorry Gus. All those thousands of hours you spent learning poker were a wasted effort. The WPT is going to take these boot camp recruits and turn them into WPT caliber players in two days . . . or not. :-)"

I agree, I don't think you'll be able to become a Gus Hansen over night. Although being able to advance your skills and techniques within a relaxed educational environment can get you closer to making it to The Final Table. I've been working on a business for the last 8 months and have recently launched "The Poker Camp". I think you'll find a different approach from the "WPT Boot Camp". We don't claim to make you a professional poker player over night, just a better chance against the top pros next time you play in a Major Poker Tournament. Our approach is based on entertainment, interactivity, learning and includes all this and more within a two day weekend getaway.

Dedicated to promoting and advancing the education of poker players, The Poker Camp's goal is to increase the poker enthusiast's skills and enjoyment of tournament poker through educational seminars. By leveraging expert resources within the poker community, The Poker Camp enriches the educational experience while maintaining the entertaining spirit of the game. Through The Poker Camp series seminar, a participant will gain the knowledge and skills to better benefit from major poker tournaments and increase the opportunities of making it to the final table.

I don't know it sounds like a good deal to me. I checked out both sites (wpt and Boot camp) and I think that I would get $1500 worth of good out of it. (I didn't like the Boot Camp's add because they didn't list the price so I kept looking)Especially if I included it in a trip to Vegas. Hey I usually lose more than that at the crap table. I will check this out next time I am going to Vegas.
