BG posted what I assume is a joking taunt regarding my comments about OddJack. I do wish to offer my congratulations to both BG and AJ (BG for scoring the gig and to AJ for being smart enough to hire him).
Just for some backstory, AJ emailed me (subject line “You Dick”) about my somewhat critical post and we had some conversation about what it is that I don’t like about the blog. AJ said he was looking to bring on some help in the poker department and it appears fellow blogger, BG, has taken up the challenge.
So, to answer your question:
Do you approve now Bill Rini?
Hey, I’m for anything that will get the Josh Arieh posts on OddJack down to only 3 or 4 a day!

Hi, my name is Bill Rini and this is my poker blog. I've been blogging about poker and the poker industry since around 2003-ish. Like most people I started out playing poker as entertainment in home games whenever we wanted to sit around and smoke cigars, drink beer, and eat pizza, and needed a good excuse. I started playing online shortly after the first online card rooms opened and it wasn't long before I was playing 20, 30, or even 40 hours a week or more. One day I received a phone call about a program manager position at Tiltware which was the company that consulted to Full Tilt Poker on software development and marketing. After Tiltware I spent about 2.5 years working at Party Poker where I was the poker room manager.

Perhaps if you weren’t so in love with Josh Arieh, you’d recongnize the genius in OddJack. ;)
Yeah, what BB said…
Considering, in AJ’s words, that Oddjack is targeted towards “the 20 year old with the bong attached to his face,” and isn’t a true poker blog by any means, the mascot/whipping boy thing makes more sense. That’s all AJ though, I’ve only taken a couple of small sideswipes at Arieh so far. None of that full blown stuff.
Just watch out, BG. It’s a slippery slope. One minute you’re writing witty headlines for OddJack and then the next thing you know you’re stalking Josh Arieh. I’ve seen it happen, man, and it’s not pretty.
