Shootout in the Desert Event 1 Results

in Poker, WPBT

Sorry it took me so long to post this but I ended up getting pulled away on something and didn’t get a chance to get to post until this morning.

We had a impressive field of 31 players for the first event which added $310 to the eventual prize pool. As expected, it became a bit of a slugout as players fought hard and played their best poker for the top two spots. The winners, CJ and -EV played well against the competition and have secured themselves seats at the six person shootout in Dec.

World Poker Blogger Tournament - T1 Results

The final table included some good players and the poker chips were evenly enough distributed that no player was out of reach of the top spot. That made for a good battle.

Good playing by all!!!! Join us next Sunday when we play event #2.

Hi Bill,

I was curious of your screen name on Full Tilt (I appoligize for my ignorance but I’m a fairly new reader of your blog and can’t find the info anywere). I was curious because I finished 4th in Full Tilt’s 12k last night but noticed someone named Scuba33(I think) make the final 20 or so.

Thanks!

And I’ve played Jedi quite a bit out of that list. He’s a solid player, he’s everywhere.

Gnomes are funloving woodland creatures who adore you.

I think I’ll go out at the top 80% mark in event #2 and they slay everyone to win event #3. Just my thoughts… ;)
