Joaquin sent me an email recently suggesting that we design a banner that can be served up via JavaScript (for those of you who can’t host images) that would point to the info page for the Winter Classic in Las Vegas. Since my design skills rank just above being able to scribble, I thought I would throw the challenge out there to anybody who wants to run with it.
BTW, I will be distributing a info sheet just prior to the event that you can print out and bring with you to Vegas. It will include stuff like where and when the tournament will be, hotel phone number, maps, etc. When it’s ready I’ll send it out to everybody registered for the tournament and announce on this website that it’s available to those who ask.

Hi, my name is Bill Rini and this is my poker blog. I've been blogging about poker and the poker industry since around 2003-ish. Like most people I started out playing poker as entertainment in home games whenever we wanted to sit around and smoke cigars, drink beer, and eat pizza, and needed a good excuse. I started playing online shortly after the first online card rooms opened and it wasn't long before I was playing 20, 30, or even 40 hours a week or more. One day I received a phone call about a program manager position at Tiltware which was the company that consulted to Full Tilt Poker on software development and marketing. After Tiltware I spent about 2.5 years working at Party Poker where I was the poker room manager.

I run a phpAdsNew server.. I’d be willing to host the ad for anyone who wants to use it. No need for javascript, just pure html.. (unless someone wants the JS..)
It seems like no one has done anything for this, so I made a crappy banner.. check out my site, mattahfahtu.com for the banner and the code to invoke the banner on your own site.
