This will be my first WPBT event and I assume that I will be the sole UK representative. It will be my eighth visit to LV (I think) and my second this year. I arrive on Dec 4th and will be there until just before Christmas.

I've been playing online since 2000 and have been a poker player since the early 1970s, when I was very young. I write for the Gutshot and Stan James web sites, as well as my own blog. For a living I write about insurance. Someone has to do it.

My poker history goes back to playing with Tony Holden and Al Alvarez and others of that motley crew, before they were famous poker writers. Indeed, if you look hard, I am mentioned (although not by name) in Big Deal.

I don't play tournaments; I don't play no limit, and I don't play live that often (only when I am in Vegas, these days). I reckon that makes me a shoo-in for the Imperial Palace tourney. :-)

I'll be staying at the Boardwalk from 4th to 11th. My cellphone doesn't work properly over there (and it costs my $8 a minute to receive a call), so the best way to get to me is to leave a message in the Flamingo poker room (just say that it's for "English Peter") or phone the Boardwalk.

I'll find the "Crash the Excalibur" flash crowd somehow. My spies are everywhere.

I'll introduce myself for two reasons. First, this will be my first time at the WPBT in Vegas. I have, however, played all the bloggers who came to BradOWeen this year in GVegas. My brother Shep, whom a few have met, will be with me as well.

Second, as of today I am no longer merely a serial commentor. I finally broke down and joined Blogger. So, here I am whoring myself already. Soon I'll be just like all you bastards. So here: http://pokerandliquor.blogspot.com/

I'm official now. And next year I can play in the PokerStars Blogger Championship.

And 4thly, Boston J Reilly is coming?? Cool!

Mike Villa here...first live blogger event and can't wait. Play mostly limit ($5/10) online, but have been working on getting my tourney chops in order for the Vegas trip.

I'll be at Caesar's Palace on the 6th, as I've been fortunate enough to score a 'business trip' for a training seminar at CP for the week...so if anyone is in Vegas early, drop me a line and we can meet up in advance. Also, Bill...if you need any assistance with anything ahead of time, just LMK and I'll do what I can.

This will be my first WPBT live event. I've played in several of the online events (final table in two) and know several of the blogger illuminati electronically but will be my first time meeting 99% of the poker blogsphere in person.

I'm a former .com'er, who sold out before the bubble burst, took some time off and then joined the corporate world. I'm currently responsible for Information Security and Application Development for a midsized midwest regional Financial Insitution.

I'd label myself a tournament specialist, both in terms of single table tournaments and MTTs, as compared to being only an average cash game player.

I'm also known for my football handicapping (picks posted on 2p2, also my blog), and recently achieved national renown for my ability to build the best 2-8 Blogger-league fantasy football team anyone has ever seen.

I can vouch for Mike's "Gamboooler" status-- I highly recommend a craps session for those of you who are fans of high variance.

I'm new the the blogging scene as well, but I'll be in Vegas at the same time, so I hope to score an invite (did I just invite myself to a party? Feels like high school all over again).

If you've got the room, and don't mind another physician, let me know where to find you.

Falstaff - My first WPBT event, although I did participate in the drunkenness that was Bradoween. I'll be the fat guy in the kilt, unless enough money is offered for me to keep my pants on. :).

E3 - Emily E. Eudy - a co-worker of mine at Barbizon (lighting, NOT modeling), production manager of our theatre company, and sound effects generator without parallel. E3 has only one goal in life - to enjoy it!

Twitch - Andrew "Twitch" Fisher is a young single guy who needs to be thrown to the wolves, so any of the single female poker bloggers who want to take him and abuse him - feel free. His hands shake like that no matter what kind of cards he's got, so it's not a tell, he's just the Twitch.

BlackMike - This young pre-premed student is, sad to say, dead money. He'll mostly be at the blackjack table.

That's most of the Charlotte crew, except for Brother Wes, who is E3's bruder, a helluva barbeque cook, and I have no idea if he's ever played cards a day in his life.

Boston J. Reilly-- Reilly's wife is the person who introduced me to blogging in 2001 and is one of the reasons I am where I am today. Reilly and I have been great friends since 1999, enjoying many a music festival, good beer, and insane laugh. He was also the first winner of the Bradoween Open (http://www.upforanything.net/poker/archives/000650.html) and at one time vowed never to play again so he could claim a 100% winning record. Avoid this man if you want to be in a bad mood. he just won't allow it.

Minor Third-- M3 (also known as Jay) is a blogger who occasionally blogs about poker. I met him through Reilly and got stupid drunk with him in Boston this past spring. He's going through a pretty stressful time right now and will be in serious need of some Al Can't Hang Experience. http://minorthird.com/

Neither of the above bloggers RSVPd in time to get in the tournament, but will be waiting patiently if there are open seats.

Dr. Jeff- My brother, who at one time was a good blogger, but gave it up in favor of saving lives and curing the ill. Most old school bloggers know Dr. Jeff from the two previous WPBT events. Look for a red-haired and smarter version of me and that's the Doc.

The Mark-- Not a blogger (but his wife is! http://www.pokerbtch.blogspot.com/). Mark Toenails is loose, a NL Omaha8 specialist, and my stand-in for needling when G-Rob isn't around.
