I would replace MLHE with caro's book of tells, much of the relevent chapters of the first super systems is repeated in the new book however the first one might be good to have around for the 7 card stud chapter by chip. I like the list though, its not in the order one should probably read the books.

Great list.

This list assumes the serious player already has a well-worn copy of the original Super System, right? And Caro's Book of Tells has to at least receive honorable mention?

Simon,

I would, obviously (seeing as how I made the list), disagree on MLHE. You may or may not agree on how they recommend you play the hands but Bob does a great job at pointing out gross mistakes being made that many people playing $5/$10 don't even understand are mistakes.

Excellent post Bill. I´ll probably drop Middle Limit Hold'em from that list (I don´t like how they suggest play a lot of hands), but all are great books.

Well, looks like I got some reading ahead of me if I really want to win at poker...Any particular order to read them in? Best book to start out with is probably the most important question..
