Full Tilt on the Mac

by Bill Rini on December 23, 2005

in Online Poker, Poker

Shhhhhhhhhhhh . . . don’t tell anyone but Full Tilt has launched a Mac client beta. Unlike Mac clients offered by other online poker rooms this Mac client is 100% Mac. No Java. No Mac window wrap arounds. Nope. A real all-Mac Mac client.

If you already play at Full Tilt Poker on your PC, you can log on to the new Mac software using your current Player ID and Password immediately after completing the install. If you are a new Full Tilt Poker player, just download and create a new account.

Check out the Full Tilt Mac Beta page for details.

So when’s the Linux client coming? :)

(yeah, I know, it really doesn’t make sense for them to do it)

Oddly enough, I did NOT tell Alan about our dinner conversation on that exact same topic. He mentioned it completely on his own later that night, which further confirms my belief that Alan is some sort of psychic super-human.

heh.

I did just manage to get the windows client to work in wine. It seems like it’s going to be playable, though not great.

Also, cause I’m crazy, this comment is being posted with IE6 running in wine on my Linux laptop. Nuts.

Alan -

How did you get full tilt up with wine?

I’m using Debian sarge with wine:

Yes, I don’t know how to use any of the crap you Geeks are talking about. In the end can’t one just use a Mac and play at full-tilt? Geez…why don’t you all just say that? Scray Vegas story…GeekandProud searching 5 diff. ways for me to get online…finally he connected two wires with a torch and hooked it up to his phone…I feel so old around you young kids.
