Beating Blackjack with Andy Bloch

From a recent ExpertInsight affiliate newsletter:

We are currently in post-production of our second Expert Insight DVD: Beating Blackjack with Andy Bloch. Andy is a member of the fabled MIT Blackjack Team chronicled in the NY Times Bestseller, Bringing Down the House (soon to be a major motion picture with Kevin Spacey). Andy reveals the secrets of card counting, bet spreading and team play that he and his MIT colleagues used to win millions in Vegas. We expect very strong demand for this DVD.

I actually had the opportunity to Andy about his new DVD at the holiday party and he seems very excitited. They don’t have a release date yet but it looks like it should be available pretty soon.

I have a bankroll strategy for blackjack i learned from John patrick , its called bankroll management. When you start with say 100 bucks buyin your win goal is set say to 20% and your loss limit is set to 50%. so here is how it goes. If you win $20 you take 10 and addit to your backroll of $100 which is a your guaranteed profit. As you continue to will you keep spliting adding to your betting pot and 1/2 to your guaranteed profit. Ok lets say youve been loosing you will walk away when you loose 50% you are not on a streak and need to walk. Thats the nuts and bolts try it you’ll love it if you have the balls. Its always my check in line.

This isn’t really the place for this debate, but I hope everyone realizes that trying to beat blackjack using “money management” techniques like those espoused in comment 1 is total BS. There’s plenty of good information about how to beat blackjack out there, but money management strategies are not the way to do it.
