I also noticed that the only time he ever limps in is when he has a baby pocket pair. He'll raise 4x the BB with KQo on the button, and will sometimes raise with a pocket pair if he wants to take down the pot, but have you ever seen him limp in with AK utg? If I were playing with him and he limped in early position, I'd probably raise it up, continuation bet the flop, and fold if he raised me and the board had any card under it under a jack. (Does he limp with pocket 10s? Maybe no, can't remember.)

I'm not even a very good player myself, just barely positive really, and I only play $.25/$50 NL ring games and $10 SNGs, but even I cringe when I see some of the plays he makes.

I remember watching one hand where he rivered a set, and the board had a straight sitting on it -- a really obvious one, and it was checked to him. His bet didn't make me cringe too much, though I think checking it off to a showdown would be better, rather it was the thought that he intended to go all in if the other guy did.

What's most shocking of all is his poor card reading skills. I look at the board and am instantly thinking, "oh he has the nut str8", or whatever, but he's sitting there counting off the cards... "What have I got here... 4, 5, 6, 7... 8.... straight."

If you can't see all the possibilities instantly, how can you hope to see what the other players might have?

No offense, tough fish, but you really need to back off -- way, way off.

Well said. I think he raises way too much with weak hands out of position, but that is just my take...maybe he should mix up his raises also...too easy to read.
