Remember that goofball I wrote about who wanted someone to pony up $10,000 so he could be the first person out of the 2006 WSOP? Yeah, well surprisingly, he didn’t seem to reach his goal. But he hasn’t given up the dream. His website now states:
First out poker will become a blog all about poker. Our first idea of being the first out at the world series of poker will have to wait….maybe 2007? But we will have updates on the 2006 world series of poker. We will also mention great online poker promotions. We also want to help improve your texas hold-em game and will have strategy and much more. Check back often as we will continue updating this blog to really make it a great resource for any poker player.
This guy just keeps missing the mark.
1) Updates on the 2006 WSOP? Wow! Nobody’s doing that.
2) You’ll mention great online poker promotions? I hope you include an affiliate link so I can repay you for your kindness.
3) Will your strategy advice include how to bust out of a tourney? I hope so because I’ve had so many problems with that.
4) Don’t worry. I’ll be checking back. This should be good.

Hi, my name is Bill Rini and this is my poker blog. I've been blogging about poker and the poker industry since around 2003-ish. Like most people I started out playing poker as entertainment in home games whenever we wanted to sit around and smoke cigars, drink beer, and eat pizza, and needed a good excuse. I started playing online shortly after the first online card rooms opened and it wasn't long before I was playing 20, 30, or even 40 hours a week or more. One day I received a phone call about a program manager position at Tiltware which was the company that consulted to Full Tilt Poker on software development and marketing. After Tiltware I spent about 2.5 years working at Party Poker where I was the poker room manager.

I’m just the opposite, I seem to find very creative ways to bust out of tournies :)
