First off, let me apologize for not posting recently. I’ve had a lot going on which has kept me from doing much posting or blog reading.

As some of you may already know, I will not be joining some of my compadres going to Dublin. In the end, it really wasn’t the right move for me. I wish them all the luck in the world and much success.
After a lot of cross-country and international travel, I’ve decided to make a different move. I can’t name the company but I will be moving to the beautiful country of Gibraltar. It’s a wonderful opportunity to continue doing what I love in a role that is perfectly suited to me. Besides, who wouldn’t give up 300 days of Dublin rain for 300 days of Gibraltar sunshine . . . besides Franklin?

I’ll be departing the US on or about the 21st of this month and be up in some sort of corporate housing for about a month until I get situated. That might mean some patchy posting periods as I’m not entirely sure what my internet connectivity situation will be like at times. I’ll do my best to keep the site fresh though.
Bon Voyage.

Hi, my name is Bill Rini and this is my poker blog. I've been blogging about poker and the poker industry since around 2003-ish. Like most people I started out playing poker as entertainment in home games whenever we wanted to sit around and smoke cigars, drink beer, and eat pizza, and needed a good excuse. I started playing online shortly after the first online card rooms opened and it wasn't long before I was playing 20, 30, or even 40 hours a week or more. One day I received a phone call about a program manager position at Tiltware which was the company that consulted to Full Tilt Poker on software development and marketing. After Tiltware I spent about 2.5 years working at Party Poker where I was the poker room manager.

Congrats and kudos.

Gibraltar? They have any rock there? Bwahahaha!
Seriously though be careful. Like, in every war movie I’ve ever seen, the bad guys are trying to capture Gibraltar.
Good luck!

No wonder Ryan has been pressuring me to get on the horse and get out to LA.
Good luck with this!
