After my initial spazzing I'm in the "wait and see" house with my online bankroll.

I've voted every year since I got back from college (even voted for Jesse!!). But I fail to see what good a new politican in office will do.

As you stated... "The bill was attached to a piece of legislation that would have been political suicide to vote against. Nobody with any sense of self preservation is going to vote against a port security bill a month away from mid-term elections."

ANY politican would do the same thing, even those who may/may not be sympathetic to our cause.

Bill... I really don't like reading your version of the truth :)

Played my last tourney on Party Poker yesterday... 53rd in the Million Guaranteed... it figures that right when I start busting into these big MTTs that I get pounded into submission by some congressman I've never heard of.

I too found the ZeeJustin post to be ridiculous. Halfway through reading it I just felt like he was hoping, without any legitimate reason to think so, that the bill was not written to actually accomplish anything. I can hope that some really bright lawyers get involved with this case when it finally comes to light, otherwise I think interpretation of the law is way out of the average player's realm. Not because we're not bright enough, but just because there's too many complications and details involved with the law for us to comprehend on a whim as we fire off posts to the internet.

Maybe I'll move to Canada...
