Neteller Fallout Or Strange Timing

Mansion has announced that they’re going to continue their money-losing $100K a Day promotion through Feb. They’ve also announced that the time has been changed from 0300 GMT to 1800 GMT. For those of you who don’t do a lot of timezone calculations, they’ve basically given up trying to use this as a tool to attract US players.
On average, Mansion has only been getting about 500 players (+/- 100) which means the overlays are normally in the neighborhood of $45,000 (the true average is about $46,000 - $794,900 in overlays for the first 17 events). If you play NL tournaments, you’ve got to be a stone cold idiot not to be playing these. I mean, hell, even I tried to play in one at 4am my time and made it to 102nd after going to bed at 5:30am and letting myself just get blinded out.
So the question is, did Mansion change the time knowing that the US market just became dead to them with Neteller’s exit or did they finally figure out that nobody from the US was playing?
