Gambling911 claims to have exposed the rumor of Doyle getting popped to be just that . . . a rumor. However, if you ever happen to chat with Christopher Costigan just know that even if you tell him something off the record it doesn’t mean he won’t print it anyway.
“As far as we know, Doyle is at home sleeping in his bed. Don’t quote me on any of that but we have someone going over to his house to check on him,” said a Doyles Room representative.
What part of don’t quote me on any of that was unclear? :-)

Hi, my name is Bill Rini and this is my poker blog. I've been blogging about poker and the poker industry since around 2003-ish. Like most people I started out playing poker as entertainment in home games whenever we wanted to sit around and smoke cigars, drink beer, and eat pizza, and needed a good excuse. I started playing online shortly after the first online card rooms opened and it wasn't long before I was playing 20, 30, or even 40 hours a week or more. One day I received a phone call about a program manager position at Tiltware which was the company that consulted to Full Tilt Poker on software development and marketing. After Tiltware I spent about 2.5 years working at Party Poker where I was the poker room manager.

had the same thought…because it’s glaring right at ya when you read it but I’m thinking that the “don’t quote me on that” is referring to the fact that he is sleeping and the source couldn’t really be sure either way about it and thus they’re having someone go check. More like “don’t hold me to this” than “don’t quote me”. Maybe.
