		<description>Unforgivable behavior on your part. Apparently the different rules of European etiquette have still not rubbed off on you. Even the New York Times' ethicist would have a field day with this story. So let me be blunt :

(1) Upon discerning the puddle and the approaching couple, you should have immediately whipped off your coat or jacket and done a Sir Walter Raleigh.

(2) Assuming there was no time for the action outlined in (1) above, you should have spreadeagled yourself over the puddle, allowing the woman to tread over you.

What were you thinking?</description>
