Ran across this little story the other day. Retired Baptist minister and Cabarrus County commissioner, Coy C. Privette, got caught with his hands in the honey pot when he got popped for several misdemeanors related to prostitution. Now, the whole politician/minister thing makes this funny enough alone but the article goes on to say:
Privette has been one of the state’s most vocal opponents against alcohol sales and legal gambling.
Is there anything this guy does like other than banging hookers? I don’t fault a man for having his vices. Hell, some might even go so far as to say I have a few. But there’s got to be a special ring of hell for guys who spend a lifetime convincing others to deny themselves yet somehow end up lacking the ability to do the same. And why is it that these moral do-gooders always end up in sex scandals?
Anyway, I’m glad to see another morally superior a-hole have his reputation ruined.

Hi, my name is Bill Rini and this is my poker blog. I've been blogging about poker and the poker industry since around 2003-ish. Like most people I started out playing poker as entertainment in home games whenever we wanted to sit around and smoke cigars, drink beer, and eat pizza, and needed a good excuse. I started playing online shortly after the first online card rooms opened and it wasn't long before I was playing 20, 30, or even 40 hours a week or more. One day I received a phone call about a program manager position at Tiltware which was the company that consulted to Full Tilt Poker on software development and marketing. After Tiltware I spent about 2.5 years working at Party Poker where I was the poker room manager.
