I think you got the wrong impression about the guy asking if you need something else in rest. in Hyd It is a national habit sort of culture, u can say, to ask guests if they need anything more. And the national habit/culture is to keep saying no thanks I'm fine every time you are asked. Try this next time and you wouldn't have to say WTF and commission stuff ;) and you would be happy too.
