Sorry, I had to pass this one along and although it has no poker info in it, it’s on Gambling911 so it is semi-gambling related.

Enter 13-year old Ralph Hardy of Newark, Texas.

Seems he used Dad’s credit card to purchase hookers – a grand total of $30,000!

He paid prostitutes to spend the evening playing Xbox video games with him and his friends in a Texas motel.

This story is so classic.  Nobody can gamble because children may steal their parent’s credit cards and gamble online but there is little in place to stop 13 year olds from stashing up in a motel room full of hookers and playing XBox.

The best part of the story is the end where the prostitutes explain why they were with 13 year old boys and the boy’s aspirations after he grows up.

According to the story, the $1,000-per-night hookers, released without charge, said the boys told them they were people of stunted development who were traveling with a circus. The kids claimed state law prevents disabled workers to be discriminated against, so the prostitutes had no right to deny their services.

Ralph’s ambition is to one day become a politician….like Jon Kyl perhaps.

Now I don’t know how you may feel about hookers or prostitution but you have to admire the young lad for knowing the law well enough to know that the hookers were forbidden from discrimination against the disabled.  Kudos Mr. Hardy, the modern day Ferris Bueller.
