But it should be obvious that if you don&#039;t understand how your small mistakes add up then you probably don&#039;t understand equity and thus trying to present it here would add a level of complexity that might distract from the message.

It&#039;s a good point though and at some point I might write a more advanced version of this post which includes equaity as a consideration.</description>

		<description>The mistakes don&#039;t cost a small bet or a big bet. They cost, at most, a fraction of a bet. Your equity when you call loosely preflop is never 0%. It&#039;s true that small mistakes add up, but they don&#039;t add up with anywhere near the speed you&#039;re talking about here.

It&#039;s hard to gauge if you&#039;re aware of these things and left them out for simplicity. I don&#039;t think the idea gets more difficult to absorb when expressed correctly, though.</description>
