Yes I know. sub- affliate program? I was mainly just trying to make the point that bodog saying no to rakeback isn't a big issue. All it would take is a rakeback affiliate to step up and offer it.

@James: Well, that's sort of the trick, isn't it? How do you get 40,000 players?

It's kind of like a big scam. All in all I don't think any poker room offers much rakeback anyway. Rakeback sites are just affiliates for those poker rooms. They get a ton of signups by calling it rakeback I believe. Then pay some of your rake back to you out of their own commissions. Many poker rooms offer affiliates 50% commission if they bring in over $50,000 in revenue per month. This is easily achieved by these affiliates (rakeback sites) who have 40,000 + members! Lets just say 40,000 members generate $10 each in revenue for the poker room. That's a low number. It's probably much higher. However that's still $400,000 each and every month. The rakeback affiliate would receive $200,000 per month. On average they payout 30% back to their poker players ($60,000) leaving them $140k in profits! That's almost $1.7 million per year for the affiliate. Hell come to my site. I'll pay rakeback to my bodog players if I get that many signups!

I think "losing, casual players" just means the "not committed" or "not addicted" people. Of course they are more of a target than those that play often and play well because those people will play no matter what.
