I’ve been a busy beaver lately so bear with me.
First off on Bill’s Poker Blog we have the Howard Lederer and Phil Ivey Hip Hop Dance Off. We also have an interesting article into how the game of poker is getting tighter . . . for the poker room operators. eGaming Review liked the article so much they asked me to write my opinions on the subject for their blog as well. If you can’t be bothered reading either, I’ll sum it up by saying that analysts that say that poker is declining in the UK aren’t taking all the data points into consideration (ahem . . . like industry consolidation).
Over on Rakeback Report we have some new articles as well:
December Rakeback Promotions on Rakeback Report
Throw Even More Shrimp On the Barbie
Throw Another Shrimp On the Barbie – Full Tilt Poker Sending Players to the Aussie Millions
Want to Play Micro-Limits Against the Fishiest of the Fish?

On the personal front . . .
The hand is better. I still have some slight numbness but for the most part I can type, twirl pencils, and even write those funny Thai script characters. Thanks to all the people who have emailed and called me over the last month or so concerned about the arm/hand. I really appreciate the support.

Hi, my name is Bill Rini and this is my poker blog. I've been blogging about poker and the poker industry since around 2003-ish. Like most people I started out playing poker as entertainment in home games whenever we wanted to sit around and smoke cigars, drink beer, and eat pizza, and needed a good excuse. I started playing online shortly after the first online card rooms opened and it wasn't long before I was playing 20, 30, or even 40 hours a week or more. One day I received a phone call about a program manager position at Tiltware which was the company that consulted to Full Tilt Poker on software development and marketing. After Tiltware I spent about 2.5 years working at Party Poker where I was the poker room manager.
