Just wanted to give a heads-up on how you can win a package to the Asian Poker Tour (APT) in the Philippines. Party Poker is running satellites for a $6,000 APT package. I went to the APT in Macau last year and it was great (Mel Judah took my picture in the bathroom) so the Philippines event should be pretty good too.
Each package includes the $2,700 event buy-in, 7 nights hotel accommodation in Manila, plus another $2,300 in spending cash. Your dollar goes pretty far in the Philippines so that’s actually a pretty huge event package.
Party is running super-satellites starting at $1 but you can buy in at higher levels too which is probably better value if you have anything resembling a bankroll.
