It’s always interesting to see who’s been sending traffic my way (excluding search engines). Let’s take a look:

Just like with the most popular blog posts the names in the top 10 haven’t changed much. Seven of the top ten are the same as last year. I was surprised to see Facebook jump from #10 to #2 this year though. I haven’t really been doing a whole lot to promote the site on Facebook other than the “Like” buttons which I’m assuming are getting some clicks as people share articles they like.
Stumble Upon was a complete surprise. I haven’t done anything at all to promote the site on Stumble Upon in 2010. In fact, I did do some stuff with SU in 2008 or 2009 and nothing much came of it. So for them to creep up into the top ten in 2010 with no effort on my part does make me want to dig a little deeper into where that traffic came from.
