Economic Stimulus Plan: Legalize Online Poker [Infographic]

Sara over at OnlinePoker.org sent me a link to an infographic that they put together that summarizes where online poker is at currently. Basically it’s making the case for legalizing online poker by selecting relevant facts and presenting them in a very user-friendly manner. It takes the angle that more than $1 billion could be generated by state and federal governments by legalizing online poker.

I like it because it’s simple, easy to understand, and can be communicated to people who don’t know anything about the complexities of the UIGEA or other gambling legislation.

If I have one criticism it’s that it spends way too much time and effort on showing how big Zynga Poker is on Facebook. I would have liked to have seen some information on how engrained poker is in the US (presidents and famous people who have played the game, etc). Otherwise a good tool for making the point that not legalizing online poker is rather foolish.
