Mean Gene added these pithy words on Jul 25 05 at 11:02 pmWhile I’m thrilled (of course thrilled isn’t the word, but we’ll leave that for the moment) that Isabelle Mercier linked to me on her webpage, I’m a bit disturbed that Oddjack said I may be floating on some emission from a steel mill. Alas, most of Pittsburgh’s steel mills are forever shuttered now. Except for the Edgar Thompson Works, where my dad worked after Homestead shut down…but I digress.
I want to go on record that I do not want to “bang” Isabelle Mercier. Mean Gene does not “bang”. Mean Gene makes a phone call to Giuseppi to get to work quarrying the marble that he will then sculpt into a pedastal that he will then place the object of his affection upon. If she wants to so be placed. Which in this case she almost certainly would not. What the hell has happened to my syntax? Anyway, I don’t want to see Phil Gordon or Gabe Kaplan naked. I think that’s the point I most wanted to make.
