First off, a few folks have emailed me to let me know that Bob hasn’t gotten back to them yet about room reservations. I’ve emailed him and put in a phone call to him. He wasn’t working the day I called but I’ll keep pinging him until he gets back with everybody.
In the meantime, I thought I would just post an update on the in/out/maybe lists.

So far we’ve got 41 people confirmed and I’ve got a bunch of maybe’s and other misc responses I didn’t know where to file so expect the list to grow. Things are looking like we’ll be able to do about 60+ or so bloggers (and non-bloggers) for the tournament which is about what we had at the Aladdin Classic and a few notches above what we had at the first Winter Classic.
For details on the WPBT Winter Classic, including information about room reservations, see this previous post.

Hi, my name is Bill Rini and this is my poker blog. I've been blogging about poker and the poker industry since around 2003-ish. Like most people I started out playing poker as entertainment in home games whenever we wanted to sit around and smoke cigars, drink beer, and eat pizza, and needed a good excuse. I started playing online shortly after the first online card rooms opened and it wasn't long before I was playing 20, 30, or even 40 hours a week or more. One day I received a phone call about a program manager position at Tiltware which was the company that consulted to Full Tilt Poker on software development and marketing. After Tiltware I spent about 2.5 years working at Party Poker where I was the poker room manager.

I see a certain metrosexual blogger’s name isn’t on the list…
Very disconcerning.
I’m not going to say for certain that I’ll be there, but the chances have risen from about 5% to around 25%. If it becomes obvious I’m coing, I’ll let you know.
Jason:
Any increase in your chances of coming is a good thing!
Drizz,
The metrosexual has confirmed. Bring your man-purse.
Please count me in for the WPBT Winter Classic.
Put me down as on the fence – I’m about 60%.
No.Way.In.Hell.
Sorry, but I’m never, ever going to pay 30% juice on a tourney unless they get a hooker to give me a blow job while they’re at it.
I might come to town, hang around, if I feel well enough after the poker cruise.
I’m in.
Anyone know the best way to bring a case of beer to Vegas?
Should I mail it to the hotel?
Please add me to the 50% list. I may be 100% by Sunday.
100% booked
I am no longer on the fence – count me in please. Thanks
