According to Yahoo! News, some guy “with the logo of a on-line gambling website on his black T-shirt” jumped on-stage during the closing ceremonies at the Turin olympics. And according to 2+2, that logo was for GoldenPalace.
I’m not sure I understand this type of marketing stupidity. I’m also not sure why all of this is happening right after I did a post about publicity stunts:
Pokershow’s fake Muslim outrage
Sinful Poker’s win a date with a hooker tournament
Online Poker, Bubbles, Bursts, and Marketing
Technorati Tags: online poker, stupid pr stunts, stupid marketing tricks, publicity stunts

Jay added these pithy words on Feb 27 06 at 3:19 pmGolden Palace, Really has some issue’s with their marketing campaign. Some of the stuff is funny or a good way to get into the public eye. Other’s are over the top and too much. I don’t really agree with the olympic closing ceremony dissruption…They can buy all the grilled cheese sandwiches they want but should leave some things alone…
