679177036 e274b05f96 Jason Newitt Sues Full Tilt . . . Howard Lederer and just about anybody else he can get his hands onkudos to Pokerati for catching this one.

Anybody who has spent some time around the big Vegas events probably knows Jason Newitt or as he’s often known online as JDN. For several years he was Full Tilt Poker’s man on ground in Vegas making sure Full Tilt’s pros were looked after and pretty much anything else Full Tilt needed done in Sin City while they toiled away in rainy Dublin.

Although he is probably more infamously known as the guy who inadvertently (?) forwarded an email between himself and Howard Lederer to Jimmy “Gobboboy” Fricke in which Howard called Fricke a “freak and very weird dude.” Interestingly, Fricke is probably better known for that email than he is for anything he’s ever accomplished at the poker tables so maybe he owes Jason and Howard some gratitude on that one.

According to the Pokerati site, Jason is suing Full Tilt for being unfairly terminated and the unfair termination of his distributions. Pokerati was able to gather the following information about he lawsuit but promises to keep digging.

Jason Newitt
v.
Tiltware; Full Tilt Poker; Pocket Kings Ltd.; Pocket Kings Consulting Ltd.; Raymond Bitar; Howard Lederer
9/11/2009

Contract action. Plaintiff says he was unfairly fired, and that his distribution payments were unfairly ceased. Defendants then took control of his ownership.
