Chris Beam who writes for Slate just popped me an email about an article they’ve recently posted over there about Harry Reid and online poker. It’s far from the in-depth analysis most of the poker media has produced but the audience at Slate aren’t necessarily hard-core poker junkies so I think this is a nice sort of explanation of what’s going on for non-poker players who are wondering what all the commotion is about. It’s reasonably balanced and takes on most of the counterarguments presented by the anti-gambling establishment.
